With iconically early 20th century design this delightfully sleek silver cup (gilt inside) and saucer with accompanying eggcup will inevitably be a talking point in your collection. Despite having 100 years or more of age there is a look which is undeniably 21st century. Clean lines and gently curving with a simple repeated design on all three items. The pieces are all marked 800 with a crescent and crown mark for Germany, however I am unable to pinpoint the maker H.M. & S. What is really clever about the repeated deco-type motif of triangle in a circle is that it is cut through the silver on the eggcup which means the colour of the eggshell would show through but on the cup and saucer it is only partially cut, thus showing metal below.
There is no damage to any of the three individual parts of the set.
