Made by the Derby Silverplate Company (Connecticut) this three piece Coffee Set is the epitome of ‘Arts and Crafts’ with its gorgeously hammered finish. It was made in the few years after 1898 (renamed International Co in that year) and reflected the current trend for hammered, decorative metals. The condition of every piece is astonishingly pristine – indeed it looks like a typical ‘wedding gift’ that was never used – and both coffee pot and water pot have been checked for water-tightness.

The height of the tallest (coffee) pot is 27 cm; the other pot/jug is 24 cm and the sugar bowl is 11.5 cm in height.
